Dara Botts RNC, FNP, ADM-BC

Duel board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Diabetes Management she is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with aMasters in Education and Belmont University with a Masters in Nursing.  In July 2018 Dara opened her own endocrine Practice - Botts Diabetes and Endocrinology.  She has served as a clinical preceptor and instructor for many students from several Schools of Nursing with Vanderbilt University University of Alabama Huntsville, Duke University, as well as Physician Assistant students from Yale.

Dara has been very active in the diabetes community sharing her expertise in the management of diabetes with appropriate use and safety of current medications. She stays very active running a busy endocrine practice.

Dara is married to Steve Botts and they have two children Alex and Beth with seven Grandchildren Maddy, Mary.Marcy, Jordyn, Gracie, Eli and Garrison.  She enjoys her Church activities, spending time with family and the Great Smokey Mountains.
